Michael McGregor - The Greece Notebook

The Greece Notebook is a sketchbook by Michael McGregor, composed of drawings made on the spot, like snapshots taken with a disposable camera. Each illustration was created during a three-month journey through Greece in 2022.

Far from the tourist clichés of Mykonos or sponsored stays in Santorini, this notebook explores everyday life, the mundane, the ordinary. From the Ionian Sea to Athens, from the port of Piraeus to the Cyclades, McGregor delivers an impressionistic logbook: Greece seen through the curious eyes of a foreign traveler.

Michael McGregor is a Los Angeles-based artist, known for his vibrant and colorful still lifes. He has exhibited in the United States, the United Kingdom, Italy, and Mexico, and regularly collaborates with international magazines and publishing houses.

Note: the book is entirely in English.
